The Whitehaven Festival

The Whitehaven Festival is a mix of Live Music, Street Theatre, visiting ships, Air Shows and markets that takes place in and around the beautiful Harbour area of Whitehaven.

The Whitehaven Festival Arena is an intimate ticketed area for live music and has hosted Katherine Jenkins, Madness, Status Quo, Razorlight and many others.

Another big feature of the Festival is the Celebrity Chef area hosted as always by our good friend Jean Christophe Novelli and guests. Since we added this in 2007, it’s proved to be the most popular element of the entire Festival so we allowed the food element of the event to grow organically on the back of it.

Air shows have always been a part of the event and we’re really proud to have hosted the fabulous Red Arrows on 5 occasions in recent years.
